bug

I tried to run Bleach Bit and got a message that a newer version was available. I uninstalled the old version and new version will not install. I get and error message to abort/retry/skip and unless I hit skip continuously it will not proceed. Any suggestions?

I am currently running version 0.95 of bleachbit and when I try to clear the history of Google Chrome I keep getting the following error message:

"no such column: image_data: /home/username/.config/google-chrome/Default/Favicons"

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

System Used: Ubuntu 12.04 (64-bit)
Google Chrome version: 24.0.1312.52 (but the error was present for all previous versions used).

When I run the BleachBit, I see the error message below :

Unsupported special file type: '....../.cache/gnome-system-monitor.physics.2031380257'

It seem to be a bug, so I updated from "BleachBit 0.9.1" to "BleachBit 0.9.3beta" today (11/19/2012).
And I run it again, but it still does not erase "gnome-system-monitor........" file in ~/.cache directory.
The file is a socket file and it seems not be able to delete socket files. Please fix it.

While running BleachBit from a .bat file, I receive this error:

I recently installed Bleachbit 0.9.3 for my Windows 7 PC. I went under >Preferences>Custom>Add-Folder, and added my user's downloads folder to be deleted. I run BleachBit and use the "clean" option, and it doesn't delete anything in my downloads folder. I also noticed that my user's downloads folder automatically gets white listed under Bleachbit preferences.

Sorry if this isn't a bug and something I've done myself, but I've just switched from CCleaner to Bleachbit. It's still a new experience for me.

Ever since upgrading to 11.10, when I try to run Bleachbit (latest versions), the controls ghost out as if it's working, but there's no drive activity and no log of what's being done. I left it that way for at least half an hour and saw no results. Any suggestions as to why this might be happening?

I offload my roundrobin databases (*.rrd) and some html files into /tmp/monitorix-data and periodically sync them back to my physical disc. Bleachbit (v0.91) deletes them which is bad... It doesn't however touch my browser profile dir which is also in /tmp under /tmp/username-chromium. Is this expected or a bug?

I have two Thunderbird profiles in $HOME/.thunderbird (created with thunderbird -profilemanager). These two profiles are also listed in the profiles.ini file in the same folder.
Unfortunately bleachbit doesn't show a Thunderbird entry to clean, i.e. it is automatically hidden at startup (when I show 'irrelevant cleaners' and check Thunderbird nothing is found). I'd appreciate it when this would be fixed.

I recently used bleachbit 0.8.8 on my Windows 7 (x64 Ultimate) laptop with the option to remove recently used items selected. After the run, my recently used programs list in the "Start" menu was blank as expected. But as I used my computer over the next several days the list continued to either remain empty or only show one program.

I did extensive web searches about this kind of problem and tried all of them without any success (disable then enable, change number of items to save, remove NoRecentDocsMenu key in regedit, reboot, reboot again, etc.)
